Still playing the same character, namely Sing, Stephen Chow is a young man who has telekinetic abilities or some kind of supernatural power. This power apparently gave Sing an advantage as he was able to change numbers and symbols on poker cards, had invisibility vision, and read people’s minds.
Sing then visits his uncle named Blackie Tat (Ng Man-tat). The uncle is a greedy person. He then took advantage of Sing’s supernatural powers to get a lot of money through gambling games. The uncle also gave Sing the nickname ‘Saint of Gambler’.
During his stay with his uncle in an apartment, Sing was busy gambling because of his uncle’s insistence. Thanks to Sing’s strength, the two of them won easily and quickly.
Once while playing gambling, Sing meets a beautiful girl named Yee Mung (Sharla Cheung). Upon meeting, Sing fell in love at first sight. Surprisingly, this feeling of love made her supernatural powers strengthen.
Sing’s Meeting Mr Hung, the Toughest Opponent
Sing finally found a tough opponent, namely Mr. Hung. Mr. Hung has an obsession with being the King of Gamblers. To get this title , he had to face Sing, who also wanted the same title .
Apparently Mr. obsession. Hung to win the title of King of Gambler makes him crazy and justifies various means. One of them is by kidnapping Yee Mung and taking him hostage. This he did because Mr Hung knew that Sing had supernatural powers that could easily defeat him.
Mr Hung also knows that if Sing is far from Yee Mung, his supernatural powers will weaken and even disappear. Long story short, Yee Mung survived and returned to Sing at the last seconds of the game. With great ease, Sing defeated Mr Hung. Sing officially won the title of King of Gambler.
